Online sponsorship with Just Giving is a simple, secure and effective way for friends  and family across the globe to sponsor you. You will have your own personalised mini fundraising site that keeps a record of all donations made and informs you of your progress by e-mail.

To set up your own page, follow the instructions below:

Log on to www.justgiving.com Click on the header – “Start Fundraising”

Click on the button at the bottom of the screen – “Create your page”

Select the type of page you wish to create, which in this case is “Sporting”.

You will be asked for information regarding the event, select “other sporting events” and enter the date.

Now select your event - which should have been set-up by the event manager.

Next select the charity to support and continue.

Enter your e-mail address and check the box “I’m new to this site,” and continue

Enter your details as requested. You can now personalise your fundraising page by following the instructions on screen

1. Friends and family can now securely sponsor you, e-mail them your mini-site address or direct them to www.justgiving.com and click on sponsor a friend, then search for your name

2. Once your page has been created, you can update it anytime by logging into your account.
